8 More People Identified As Corona Infected In Chandpur

The corona of 8 more people has been identified in Chandpur today. Of these, 4 are from Chandpur Sadar, 2 from Haimchar and 2 from Matlab Uttar.

With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2079 people. The death toll is 76. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.

Sources said that on Friday (August 21), a total of 63 reports came from Chandpur-based Bahabir MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab. 8 of these reports are positive. The rest are corona negative.

At present, the upazila-based statistics of 2079 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 826 in Chandpur Sadar, 242 in Faridganj, 224 in Matlab South, 203 in Shahrashti, 190 in Hajiganj, 179 in Matlab North, 135 in Haimchar and 80 in Kachu.

The upazila-wise statistics of 76 deaths in the district are: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
