In Chandpur district, the number of patients infected with corona has been on the rise for a long time. This growth rate has been observed for the last few days.
On Sunday, November 1, 10 more corona were identified in Chandpur Sadar Upazila alone. With this, the number of people affected by corona in Sadar upazila increased to 979 people.
On this day, a total of 16 patients have been identified in the district. Among them 10 are from Chandpur Sadar, 2 from Matlab North, 1 from Matlab South, 2 from Hajiganj and 1 from Shahrasti.
On the same day, 10 people were declared free and healthy from Corona. Among them 5 are from Chandpur Sadar, 2 from Hajiganj, 2 from Matlab South and 1 from Faridganj.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2402 people. The death toll is 78. 2241 people have recovered. At present 83 people are undergoing treatment.

Sources said that on Sunday (November 1), a total of 56 reports came from the MA Wadud RT-PCR lab of Chandpur. Of these, 16 are corona positive. The remaining 40 reports are negative.
The current upazila-wise statistics of 2402 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 979 in Chandpur Sadar, 273 in Faridganj, 265 in Matlab South, 233 in Shahrashti, 205 in Hajiganj, 200 in Matlab North, 160 in Haimchar and 85 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 78 deaths in the district are: 23 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
The new victims in Chandpur Sadar Upazila are: women of Bipanibagh (23), women (34) of Nazirpara, women (50) and men (50) of Haji Mohsin Road, men (27) of Railway 14 Quarters area, MA Wadud of Bahasabir RT-PCR Lab. Male (30), male of trackroad (68), female (48) of Wapda Gate area, male (65) of Mission Road and male (55) of Lodergaon area of Shahmahmudpur Union.

Coronavirus infection is likely to increase in winter. Due to that, the number of victims may also increase. He added that the number of samples has also suddenly increased. On Sunday, 66 people were given samples at Sadar Hospital in one day. 76 samples were collected in the entire district on Sunday.
Of these, 13 are known to be corona positive. The report will be released on Monday. He described the overall situation as “worrying”.
