16 more people have died due to corona

In the last 24 hours, 16 more people have died due to corona in the country. So far 5,593 people have died.

At the same time, 1,684 people have been newly infected with corona. A total of 3 lakh and 82 thousand 959 people have been affected.

The information was given in a press release issued by the health department on Wednesday, October 14 .

According to the notification, 14,169 samples have been collected in 109 laboratories in the last 24 hours. Of which 14,411 are being tested. So far 21 lakh and 12 thousand 488 sample have been tested.

The notification further said that 13 men and 3 women were among the dead. In the last 24 hours, a total of 1,576 people have recovered and a total of 2,97,449 people have recovered. In the last 24 hours, out of every 100 sample tested, 11.69 people were identified as infected.

So far, 18.13 percent have been affected as a percentage of sample tests.

As a percentage, 77.67 percent recovered and 1.46 percent died

The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 08. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of coronavirus infection.
