53 more people identified in Chandpur, death 1. In Chandpur, corona of 53 more out of 188 samples has been identified. The proportion of samples identified as infected was 28.19%. The number of deaths increased by 1 on the same day.
The Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office said on Friday that the new victims included 3 from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 11 from Hajiganj, 4 from Faridganj, 1 from Matlab South, 12 from Shahrashti, 10 from Kachua and 12 from Haimchar.
On the same day, 199 people were declared corona-free. Of these, 63 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 8 from Faridganj, 23 from Hajiganj, 20 from Matlab South, 12 from Kachua, 21 from Haimchar, 32 from Matlab North and 20 from Shahrasti.
The number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 13,965 including the new ones. The death toll has risen to 223. So far 11,902 people have been declared healthy. At present the number of patients undergoing treatment is 1840. Of these, 74 are hospitalized. The rest are in home isolation.
