Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has approved eight projects at a cost of Tk. 5,441 crore. The projects were approved at the ECNEC meeting on Tuesday.
The projects were approved under the chairmanship of Prime Minister and ECNEC Chairperson Sheikh Hasina. The Prime Minister presided over the meeting via video conference from her official residence Ganobhaban.
After the meeting, Planning Minister MA Mannan told reporters.
The minister said out of the total Tk. 5,441 crore 63 lakh, Tk. 3,333 crore will be spent from government funds, Tk 2,061 crore from project loans and Tk. 48 crore from the company’s own funds.
