No need for health certificates to go to Saudi Arabia.Director of the Institute of Pathology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) of the Department of Health. Mirzadi Sabrina Flora says there is no need for health certificates when visiting Saudi Arabia. But those who want to go to Saudi, will have to go directly from Bangladesh. In case of transit or any other country, there is a possibility of problems for the passengers concerned. For example, Kuwait and Qatar Airlines have stopped flights to different countries including Bangladesh.
She said this while addressing a briefing on Thursday about the situation of coronavirus in the new building of the Health Department in Mohakhali, the capital. The meeting was held on Thursday with the ambassadors of several Middle East countries, including Saudi Arabia, so that the foreign minister, the expatriate welfare minister was present.
Professor Flora said the news was recently reported in the media that some Bangladeshi workers who wanted to go to Saudi Arabia had returned from Bahrain. Originally, flights from Bahrain to Saudi Arabia were stopped because they had to return.
She said that due to the current Corona situation, visas or flights to the eastern countries are not able to travel due to the closure of visas or those who are worried that visas will be expired, visas will be extended. The Bangladeshi workers who work in the Middle East have no reason to panic over the expiry of their visas.
