Health Minister Urges Expatriates Not To Return Home

Health Minister urges expatriates not to return home.Health Minister Zahid Malek has said that Bangladeshis who work abroad should be avoided if they do not have emergency. Because we do not want our country to be attacked. Of course, the expatriate Bangladeshis also do not want people or families of the country to be infected with coronavirus through them. For the benefit of the country and the family, now travel abroad should be stopped.

He said this at a press conference on Tuesday, March 03, at the Secretariat in the chair of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

It is to be noted that there are over one million expatriate Bangladeshis in different countries of the world. At present, coronavirus is present in 60 countries of the world. Many Bangladeshis work in those countries. Many work in the Middle East and Italy as well. Coronavirus has spread there too.

According to a statement from the World Health Organization, coronavirus is the highest prevalence worldwide. At a news conference in Geneva, the head of the World Health Organization said the situation in South Korea, Italy, Iran and Japan is the most worrisome. However, South Korea has launched intensive surveillance.

The coronavirus alone has 80,151 and the death toll in China’s mainland has been estimated at 2,943. In Italy, the death toll has risen to 52. The number of people affected by coronas is 2036. Meanwhile, reports of Corona attacks have been confirmed for the first time in Latvia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal and Morocco.
