Last seven days 98 people identified as infected in Chandpur

In seven days in Chandpur, 98 people were identified as corona, 1 died.In one week (May 13-May 19) in Chandpur, a total of 98 corona patients were identified and one died. 171 people were declared healthy.

Meanwhile, the corona of 22 more people was identified on Wednesday. Among them 10 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 2 from Shahrashti, 4 from Faridganj, 5 from Hajiganj and 1 from Kachua.

On the same day, 17 people were declared corona-free. Among them 5 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 4 from Hajiganj, 2 from Haimchar, 1 from Kachua and 5 from Shahrasti.

The number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 4545 with new cases. The death toll is 119. 4138 people have recovered. At present 288/ people are undergoing treatment. Among the injured, 15 are undergoing treatment in the isolation ward of Chandpur Sadar Hospital. The rest are in home isolation.

This information has been known from the sources of the Civil Surgeon’s Office. According to sources, samples of 155 people were tested on Wednesday. Of these, 22 are corona positive.
