Hurricane Hanna has caused landslides in the US state of Texas. In addition to Hannah, two more cyclones are set to hit the United States, Douglas and Gonzalo.
Officials, meanwhile, warned that heavy rains and gale-force winds could cause havoc. Extensive damage is expected in this cyclone.
Governor Greg Abbott has issued a disaster warning for 32 counties. He fears that the coronavirus could disrupt emergency services.
The epicenter was reported below the Pacific Ocean floor, however; no tsunami alert was issued. During the cyclone, the wind speed was 145 kilometers per hour.
Hannah has been described as a Category One cyclone. People have been urged to follow the instructions given by the emergency department during the disaster.
Douglas, meanwhile, is heading for the Hawaiian Islands at the moment with the strongest cyclone in the world. The strong Category 3 storm has a speed of 120 miles per hour (about 193 km / h) and is moving at least 25 miles from the center.
The U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said the storm could hit the state of Hawaii on Sunday. Strong winds, strong waves and heavy rains may occur in the area at this time.
Hurricane Douglas is currently 895 miles southeast of Hilo Island and is heading straight for Hawaii. However, the hope is that the storm’s strength has started to decrease due to exposure to cold water and warm air along the way. US President Donald Trump has said his administration is closely monitoring the disaster situation.
