Obaidul Quader has said that the government is thinking of easing the lockdown before Eid for the sake of life and livelihood. He said the lockdown could be relaxed for homebound people during Eid. He urged everyone to be mentally prepared and patient. The bridge minister said this at a regular briefing at his official residence here on Monday, April 19 in the morning.
The bridge minister also said that the government has decided to provide financial assistance to unemployed workers including transport workers. He called on the leaders and workers of all levels to distribute relief among the floating people.
