PM urged army to work motivated by patriotism

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called upon the members of the army to work for the people motivated by patriotism. The Prime Minister made the call while participating in the graduation ceremony of National Defense Course-2020 and Armed Forces War Course-2020 at Mirpur Cantonment through video conference from Ganabhaban on Sunday morning.

Highlighting the government’s initiatives and the contribution of the armed forces to the country’s development and progress, Sheikh Hasina said, “The members of the armed forces have always stood by us in any disaster.”

The Prime Minister further said, “All our efforts were to take Bangladesh forward on the path of development. The government is working with the aim that the Bengali nation can keep its head high in the world.”

Sheikh Hasina further said, “As a result of long efforts, I can say today that we have started making progress on the path of development, though we have been hindered by Covid-19. Even then, Bangladesh has been able to take its own place as a role model of development to the world today.”
