The 13th National Assembly Election & Referendum ‘ll be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin announced the schedule for the 13th National Assembly Election on Dec 11 at 6 pm in his address to the nation.
According to the schedule, general elections to the National Assembly in 300 constituencies of the country and a referendum on the July National Charter Constitution Reform Implementation Order-2025 will be held on Thursday, Feb 12, 2026.
Nominations for the election can be submitted until Monday, Dec 29. Nominations ‘ll be scrutinized from Tuesday, Dec 30 to Sunday, Jan 4, 2026. The last date for filing an appeal to the Commission against the order of the Returning Officer is Sunday, Jan 11. Appeals filed by the Commission will be disposed of from Monday, Jan 12 to Sunday, Jan 18. The last day for withdrawal of candidacy is Tuesday, Jan 20.
The Returning Officers ‘ll publish the list of candidates and allocate symbols on Wednesday, January 21. The CEC said that the election campaign ‘ll continue from Thursday, January 22, until 48 hours before the voting,i.e. until 7:30 am on Tuesday, February 10. The voting ‘ll be held on Feb 12, 2026.
