This Year SSC Examination Will Start from 1st February.SSC and equivalent examinations will be launched across the country from February 1.This was stated by Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni at a press conference at the Secretariat on Thursday January 16th.

This time the number of candidates is 20,47,779. All the coaching centers across the country will be closed from January 25 to February 25 for the examination.

All measures have been taken to disqualify the test. The minister said the ministry would be in a tight position to ensure that the question papers were not leaked this time too.

Dipu Moni said, ‘This time total number of 20,47,779 students will participate.The number Of male students are 10,22,336 and female students are 10,23,416.It has been decided to close all coaching centers across the country for the smooth conduct of SSC and equivalent examinations.

Education Minister said, “This year the number of examinations has decreased compared to last year. Last year, the number of examinations in the country was 21,35,333. Compared to that, the total number of examinations has decreased by 87,554.Out of them, there are 46,078 male students and 41,476 female students. This time, the students of 3,512 educational institutions will be participating in 28,884 centers across the country.

It was further informed that the educational institutes have increased by 212 and the center by 8 compared to last year. This time, the number of regular examinations is 1 lakh 5 thousand 5 hundred and irregular 1 lakh 4 thousand 5 hundred 20, the number of special examinations (3 to 5 subjects) 2 lakh 12 thousand 5 and 612 people from 6 centers will participate in the exam.

Theoretical testing will begin on February 1,2020 in the 9 general board. It will run February 1 to February 22. The practical test will begin on February 23 and run till February 27. The theoretical examination under the Madrasa Board will begin on February 1 and will continue till February 25. The practical test will run till March 3. The Technical Education Board will also begin theoretical examination at the same time and will continue till February 22. The practical test will run from February 26 to March 3.

Regarding the various decisions of SSC and equivalent examinations, the Education Minister said, “Like other times, one has to enter the exam center before 30 minutes before the start of the exam. Due to the inevitable delay of any candidate, detailed information should be sent to the concerned education board at the end of the examination. All sets of examination date papers from the Treasury will be taken to the center. 25 minutes before the start of the exam, the set code of the question paper will be informed via MMS. No one will be able to use mobile phones at the exam centers except the Secretary of the Center.

‘This time SSC examination will be conducted on creative questions in all subjects except Bangla II and English first and second papers. Regular examinations should be sent to the Board through the online evaluation number along with the continuous examination number as per the instructions of the NCTB in Physical Education, Health Sciences and Sports and Career Education.
