1 more death, 15 identified as infected in Chandpur. Another died while undergoing treatment at the Corona Isolation Ward of Chandpur Government General (Sadar) Hospital.

Her name is Mahmuda Begum (75), she was from Bakila area of ​​Hajiganj upazila. She was admitted to Sadar Hospital around 2pm on Thursday,April 29 with corona symptoms.

She died at 4 pm within 2 hours of admission. Her samples were collected after death. At night the report came positive.

Meanwhile, 15 more people were identified as infected in Chandpur on Thursday, April 29. Among them 6 are from Chandpur Sadar upazila, 4 from Faridganj, 2 from Hajiganj, 1 from Shahrasti, 1 from Matlab North and 1 from Kachua. On the same day, 39 people were declared healthy. Among them 26 are from Chandpur Sadar upazila, 2 from Faridganj, 6 from Hajiganj, 1 from Kachua and 4 from Shahrasti.

The number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 4,206 with new cases. The death toll is 115. 3570 people have recovered.

At present 521 people are undergoing treatment. Among the injured, 19 are undergoing treatment in the isolation ward of Chandpur Sadar Hospital. The rest are in home isolation. This information has been known from the sources of the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
