1 more person dies in Chandpur Isolation Unit: 4 identified. An old man named Sukhranjan Das (75) died of corona in Chandpur. He is a resident of Ukilpara in Chandpur city.
He was admitted to Chandpur Government General (Sadar) Hospital on Friday night with corona symptoms. He died at the hospital’s isolation unit at 1:10 a.m. Saturday. The corona positive report came on Sunday night after testing the sample after his death. The death toll in the district has risen to 82.
Meanwhile, in Chandpur, out of 50 reports, 4 people have been identified as corona and 5 have been released from corona. With this, the number of corona victims in the district has increased to 2595. The death toll was 82. 2454 people have recovered. At present 59 people are undergoing treatment.
There are 2 in Chandpur Sadar, 1 in Matlab North and 1 in Matlab South. Among the corona freed are 3 from Chandpur Sadar upazila, 1 from Hajiganj and 1 from Faridganj.
