Out of 12 reports from Corona Lab in Chandpur, 2 corona have been identified and 5 corona have been released. With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2642 people. The death toll is 85. 2520 people have recovered. At present 37 people are undergoing treatment.
1 person from Chandpur Sadar Upazila and 1 person from Kachua were identified as corona. 3 people from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 1 person from Faridganj and 1 person from Hajiganj were released from corona.
This information has been known from the sources of the Civil Surgeon’s Office on Saturday 26 December.
According to sources, 12 reports came from MA Wadud RT-PCR lab of Chandpur. 2 of them are corona positive. The remaining 10 corona are negative. At present there are 12 isolation patients in the district.
The current upazila-wise statistics of 2642 people infected by corona in Chandpur district are: 1128 in Chandpur Sadar, 295 in Faridganj, 289 in Matlab South, 245 in Shahrashti, 221 in Hajiganj, 202 in Matlab North, 160 in Haimchar and 2 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 85 deaths in Corona district are as follows: 28 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 12 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 4 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
