200 Taka Note Came In The Market

200 Taka Note came in the market .A note worth Tk. 200 has been released in the market to celebrate the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Bangladesh Bank has released this money for the first time in the country today.

On February 22, the central bank’s director and spokesman, Sirajul Islam, said that tk. 200 would be left of the same amount as the existing 10, 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 tk.

Next month there will be two types of commemorative and conventional-200 tk. notes, but regular notes will be on the market from 2021 onwards.

The initiative has been taken to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation. Besides, gold and silver commemorative coins worth Tk. 100 are also available as part of the celebration of Bangabandhu’s birth anniversary.

On the note of the 200 tk. the words ‘special note for Mujib Year’ are written. But the notes that will be 2021 will no longer be written in them. ‘
