2385 people identified as Corona infected in Chandpur district

Another 83 people were identified as
corona infected in Chandpur on Thursday. All of them are from Chandpur Sadar upazila.

5 people were declared healthy from Corona. Among them 2 are from Chandpur Sadar upazila, 1 from Haimchar, 1 from Matlab South and 1 from Shahrasti.

With this, the number of people affected by Corona in the district increased to 2385 people. The death toll is 78. 2215 people have recovered. At present 92 people are undergoing treatment. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office. Sources said that on Thursday (October 29), a total of 34 reports came from Chandpur MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab. Of these, 3 are corona positive. The remaining 31 reports are not negative.

At present, the upazila-wise statistics of 2385 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 968 in Chandpur Sadar, 273 in Faridganj, 266 in Matlab South, 232 in Shahrasti, 203 in Hajiganj, 198 in Matlab North, 160 in Haimchar and 85 in Kachu.

The upazila-wise statistics of 78 deaths in the district are: 23 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
