Road accident in Faridganj, 3 killed

Road accident in Faridganj, 3 killed. Three people, including a CNG driver, were killed when a truck overturned at Faridganj in Chandpur. The accident took place at the bus stand in Faridganj on Monday morning.

It is learned that on Monday morning, a CNG truck (Chatro. Metro-11-0789) coming from Raipur hit the CNG parked in front of the Faridganj bus stand traffic police box. The CNG driver Mojibur Rahman and two pedestrians were seriously injured.

The injured were rescued by locals and admitted to the Upazila Health Complex. Later, the injured CNG driver Mojibur Rahman was rushed to Chandpur for better treatment and died on the way to Dhaka in critical condition. The injured Liton (44) and Saiful Islam (38) are undergoing treatment at Faridganj Upazila Health Complex.

Upon receiving the news, the police seized the deadly truck from the spot and recovered a damaged CNG-autorickshaw and took it into police custody. The truck driver fled immediately after the accident.

Officer-in-charge of Fardganj Police Station Mohammad Shahid Hossain said the deadly truck has seized from the spot after hearing about the road accident and the damaged CNG-autorickshaw was recovered and the driver fled. The case is being prepared.

The deceased CNG driver Mojibur Rahman is the son of Abul Basar of Machimpur village in Ramganj upazila of Laxmipur district.
