Professor Nasima Sultana said 12,889 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. A total of 79 laps so far 9 lakh and 93 thousand 291 samples have been tested.
She said 1,940 more Covid-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of one lakh and 6 thousand 963 people have recovered.
The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 08. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of coronavirus infection.
