The Public Service Commission (PSC) has published the final results of the 40th BCS. The results were published on the PSC website on Wednesday afternoon.
One thousand 963 people have been recommended for recruitment in different cadres in the 40th BCS.
Earlier, on September 11, 2018, the PSC announced the notification of the 40th general BCS. Preliminary examination was held on 3rd May next year.
Three lakh 27 thousand candidates took part in it, although four lakh 12 thousand 532 applied.
The results of the preliminary examination were published on July 25, 2019. 20 thousand 277 passed preliminary examination.
The results of the written test were published on January 26, 2021. About half of the job seekers who passed the preliminary, were eliminated.
10,984 passed the oral examination.
Later the oral examination was postponed due to corona. At different times the exam was taken in a few steps.
