43 Districts Including Chandpur In Complete Lockdown: Partial 17

43 districts including Chandpur in complete lockdown: partial 17.So far, the government has completely locked down 43 districts in 8 divisions of the country to prevent coronavirus infection. Besides, partial lockdown has been announced in 17 districts.

The highest district lockdown has been in Dhaka division. 10 districts have been locked down in this division. Lockdown has taken place in at least three districts in Khulna division.

This information was given by the sources of the health department on Wednesday, April 29.

According to the divisional statistics, the 10 districts of Dhaka division are Gazipur, Gopalganj, Kishoreganj, Madaripur, Narayanganj, Narsingdi, Rajbari, Shariatpur, Tangail and Munshiganj.

Chittagong Division – Cox’s Bazar, Noakhali, Laxmipur, Chandpur, Cumilla and Brahmanbaria; Mymensingh Division – Mymensingh, Netrokona, Jamalpur and Sherpur; Rajshahi Division – Rajshahi, Naogaon, Joypurhat and Bogra.

Rangpur Division – Rangpur, Gaibandha, Lalmonirhat, Nilphamari, Dinajpur, Thakurgaon and Panchagarh; Khulna Division – Jessore, Narail and Chuadanga; Barisal Division – Barisal, Patuakhali, Barguna and Pirojpur; Sylhet Division- Complete lockdown is going on in Sylhet, Sunamganj, Habiganj and Moulvibazar.

On the other hand, the districts that are partially locked down are Dhaka, Faridpur and Manikganj of Dhaka division; Chittagong Division – Chittagong, Bandarban and Feni; Rajshahi Division – Pabna and Sirajganj; Rangpur Division- Kurigram; Khulna Division- Khulna, Satkhira, Jhenaidah, Magura, Meherpur, Kushtia, Jessore and Narail; In Barisal division- Bhola and Jhalokati.

It may be mentioned that the government has declared a general holiday from March 26 to May 5 to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Human movement has been restricted. All businesses are closed except for emergency products. The local administration has also announced lockdowns in areas where the prevalence of corona has increased.

Meanwhile, eight more people have died in the last 24 hours due to the coronavirus epidemic in the country. A total of 163 people have died from the virus. In the last 24 hours, another 641 people have been identified as infected. As a result, the total number of infected in the country is seven thousand and 103 people.
