Health Minister Zahid Malek has said that 5,000 medical technologists will be appointed.5,000 medical technologists will be appointed soon to make the healthcare sector more dynamic in the wake of the epidemic.
He said this while inaugurating a 2,000-bed temporary hospital at Bashundhara International Convention Center on Sunday,May 17.
The minister also said 2,000 doctors and 5,000 nurses have been recruited in just 10 days. Work is underway to recruit at least 5,000 new medical technologists to strengthen the medical sector. These technologists will be recruited very soon.
According to the standards of the World Health Organization, there should be 1 lakh and 28 thousand 75 medical technologists in Bangladesh, 5 thousand and 184 people are working there.
