55 People Have Died Due To Corona In The Country

The number of coronavirus cases is increasing in the country. In the last 24 hours, 55 people have died due to corona in the country. With this, the total number of deaths in Corona in the country exceeded to 2,000. At the same time 2,738 people have been identified as affected by Corona.

The total number of deaths in the country is 2,052. And the total number of identified is one lakh 62 thousand and 417 people.

Additional Director General of the Department of Health Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana gave this information on Sunday, July 05.

The Department of Health regularly conducts online briefings on the coronavirus situation in the country.

She said samples of 13,964 people have been collected in the last 24 hours. 13 thousand and 988 samples have been tested. So far 8 lakh and 46 thousand 62 samples have been tested.

Dr. Nasima Sultana further said that in the last 24 hours 1,904 Covid-19 patients have recovered from the hospital and home. So far, a total of 72,625 people have recovered.

The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 08. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of coronavirus infection.
