58 people died of Coronavirus in last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 58 more people have died due to coronavirus infection in the country. With this, the total number of deaths in the country stood at 26,794.

At the same time, 2,588 people have been newly identified. With this, the total number of identities in the country increased to 15 lakh 24 thousand 890 people.

This information was given in a press release signed by Additional Director General of the Department of Health (Administration) Professor Nasima Sultana.

In the last 24 hours, 29,495 samples were collected, the health department said in a statement. 29 thousand 541 samples were tested. In contrast to the test, the patient identification rate is 8.76 percent.

The notification further said that 3,617 people recovered from Corona in 24 hours. So far, a total of 14 lakh 68 thousand 211 people have recovered.
