641 People Identified From 4948 Samples

641 people identified from 4948 new samples in the country.Eight more people have died in the country in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus-caused Covid-19. With this, 163 people died due to this disease. In addition, out of 4968 people, another 641 were newly diagnosed with coronavirus.

A total of 7,103 patients with corona have been identified. As a result, the total number of corona victims in the country is seven thousand and 103 people.

This information was given in the regular health bulletin regarding coronavirus of the health department on Wednesday afternoon, April 29. The online bulletin was presented by the Additional Director General of the Department of Health (Administration), Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana.

She said another 4,968 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours to detect coronavirus. In all, 49,701 samples have been tested. Of those newly tested, coronavirus was detected in 641 more people. As a result, a total of 7,103 people have been affected by Corona. Eight more died among the infected patients. As a result, the death toll stood at 163 people. Besides, 11 more people have recovered. As a result, a total of 150 people have recovered.

Of those who died anew, six were men and two were women. Six are residents of Dhaka and two are from outside Dhaka. In terms of age, four are in over sixties, two in over fifties and two in over thirties.

The bulletin urges everyone to stay home and follow the guidelines of the Department of Health and the World Health Organization to avoid the risk of coronavirus infection.

The coronavirus, which spread from Wuhan in China about four months ago, is now wreaking havoc around the world. Although China has handled the situation a lot, other parts of the world, including Europe, America and Asia, are now suffering severely. About 31.5 lakh people are infected with this virus all over the world. The death toll has exceeded two lakh and 18 thousand. However, more than nine lakh and 61 thousand patients have already recovered.

On March 08, the first coronavirus patient was identified in Bangladesh. After that, at first a few new infected patients were reported, but now this number is increasing by leaps and bounds. Death is also increasing.

The government has announced a general holiday to prevent the spread of the deadly virus. Has taken many more steps. However, in the meantime, some garment factories in different areas, including Dhaka, have started opening on a limited scale. However, experts have expressed doubts about whether the situation will be under control if social distance is not ensured.
