Corona of 7 more people has been identified in Chandpur. Of these, 2 are from Chandpur Sadar and 5 are from Matlab Uttar. A total of 48 reports came from MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab of Chandpur-based Bahasabir on Saturday (29 August). 7 of these reports are not positive. The remaining 41 reports are negative.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2122 people. The death toll is 76. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.
The current upazila-wise statistics of 2122 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 849 in Chandpur Sadar, 244 in Faridganj, 226 in Matlab South, 204 in Shahrashti, 193 in Hajiganj, 187 in Matlab North, 139 in Haimchar and 80 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 76 deaths in the district are as follows: 21 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
