On the same day, 449 people were declared corona-free. Of these, 98 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 13 from Faridganj, 33 from Hajiganj, 69 from Matlab South, 108 from Kachua, 37 from Haimchar, 62 from Matlab North and 29 from Shahrasti.
The number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 13,721 with new cases. The death toll is 220. So far 11,313 people have been declared healthy. At present the number of patients undergoing treatment is 2,188. Of these, 64 are hospitalized. The rest are in home isolation.
