Authorities say 20 people are missing. 32 people were injured.
The incident took place yesterday, January 8 on Lake Furnas, a popular tourist destination in the Capitolio area.
A large rock from the valley collapsed and fell on 3 boats on the lake.
Tourists visit Furnas Lake to see the rocks and waterfalls that surround it.
Heavy rains in southeastern Brazil in recent days are said to have caused the rock to collapse.
