Corona infections are on the rise in South Africa. More than 11,000 people have been infected with the deadly virus in the country.
South Africa’s health ministry said in a statement that another 11,233 people had been infected with corona in a single day.
As a result, the number of people affected by corona so far is 4 lakh and 45 thousand 433. In a tweet, the country’s health minister, Zweli Mkhize, said 6,769 people had died of the Covid-19 infection in the country so far.
The World Health Organization (WHO) said last week that coronary heart disease was on the rise in South Africa. The country has the highest incidence of corona in Africa. Even South Africa ranks 5th among the top countries in corona infection.
So far, the United States has the highest number of coronary infections and deaths in the world. It is followed by Brazil, India, Russia and South Africa. The first corona was identified in China last December. Much later, the first corona presence was detected in South Africa.
However, corona disease in South Africa has been on the rise in recent months. However, the rate of recovery from corona is also increasing in the country.
