This year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will begin on July 2, Dhaka Education Board Chairman Khandokar Ehsanul Kabir said today.
The decision was finalised in a meeting held at the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the education ministry, chaired by Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon.
The conference was attended virtually by representatives of teachers, guardians and education board chairmen
Ehsanul Kabir said authorities have been instructed to complete the examinations within five weeks.
“The routine is now being prepared keeping that in mind,” he added.
The examinations were initially scheduled to begin on June 7, as decided by the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee.
However, the date was revised to July 2 after considering opinions from stakeholders at the meeting.
