In Chandpur another 22 people identified as infected

In Chandpur, 22 more people were identified as corona infected in last 24 hours. In Chandpur, out of 94 sample tests, corona of 22 people was identified. Among them 12 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 7 from Shahrasti, 2 from Hajiganj and 1 from Haimchar. On the same day, 6 people have been declared corona free. Among them 4 are from Chandpur Sadar Upazila, 1 from Faridganj and 1 from Matlab South.

This information was revealed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office on Sunday, June 20.

Sources further said that the number of people infected with corona in the district has increased to 5,090 including the new ones. The death toll was 124. 4660 people have recovered. At present 306 people are undergoing treatment. Among the injured, 17 are undergoing treatment in the isolation ward of Chandpur Sadar Hospital. The rest are in home isolation.

Sources said samples from 94 people in the district were tested on Sunday. According to the report received at night, the corona of 22 people is positive.
