Akama’s term extended 3 months in Saudi

King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud has extended the term of Akama for 3 months at the expense of expatriates staying in Saudi Arabia and on holiday. The Saudi Gazette quoted the Interior Ministry as saying on Sunday.

Akama will also be extended for 3 months at no cost to those whose visas have expired during the travel ban on expatriates, including expatriates. The expatriates who were issued exit and re-entry visas but could not use them due to lockdown will also get this facility.

According to the Saudi Interior Ministry, King Salman has ordered free Akama benefits as part of the government’s ongoing process to reduce trade and economic losses in the Corona crisis.
