Police have recovered the body of a youth named Anwar Hossain (32) from Anandapur area of Savar.
His body was recovered from a building under construction in the Anandapur area of Savar around 8:30 pm on Tuesday, October 13.
The deceased identified as Anwar Hossain, son of Afaz Uddin of Daulatpur village under Gafargaon police station in Mymensingh district.
Police said Anwar, who was killed in the evening, was eating sugarcane juice next to Gedu Mia’s house . He later left with some unknown young men.
Later rescued from a building under construction in Anandapur area and taken to Savar Upazila Health Complex where he was electrocuted.
The doctor on duty later declared him dead.
In this regard, Savar Model Police Station Sub-Inspector Touhid said, the body of the deceased was recovered and sent to Suhrawardy Hospital in Dhaka for autopsy. The matter is being investigated.
