Police have arrested eight accused in various cases in a special operation at Faridganj Upazila of Chandpur.
In a special operation conducted by Faridganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Shahid Hossain in the middle of the night on Friday, February 04, police arrested a total of 8 people including 5 accused in the GR case and 3 accused in the CR case.
The five accused in the arrested non-GR case are Mohammad Jabed, son of late Khalilur Rahman of Udadik area of the Upazila, Mohammad Saiful Islam, son of late Hasmat Ullah, Sharif Hossain and Arif Hossain, son of Bachchu Miah and Mohammad Sohail, son of Mohammad Bhatu Miah.
The three accused in the CR case are Hasmat Ali and Khushida Begum, wife of Nurul Islam in the Barali area of the Upazila.
In this regard, Faridganj Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Shahid Hossain said that 8 people have been arrested and sent to court after conducting a special operation.
