3 more people are infected with covid-19 at matlab.In Chandpur’s Matlab South Upazila, three new cases have been reported. Six more have recovered. This information was given from the sample test report sent by the Institute of Pathology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) in Dhaka on Sunday,july 05.
With this, a total of 111 people were infected with Covid-19 in this upazila. 40 people have recovered.
Rajib Kishore Banik, Resident Medical Officer (RMO) of the Upazila Health Complex, confirmed the information.
Rajib Kishore Banik said three more coronaviruses were detected in the upazila today. They are a housewife (25) of Kaladi area of the upazila, an old woman (60) of Dingabhanga area and a farmer (50) of Nandikhola area. A total of 111 coronavirus infected have been identified in the upazila.
The newly infected people are kept in isolation in their respective homes. Family members of the victims have been instructed to stay in the home quarantine for 14 days. Their house has been locked down.
