Soon Bangladesh Will Be Hunger-Free

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, ‘Soon Bangladesh will be hunger-free’.commented that the government has played a supportive role in resolving any problem of Ansar forces.

She said that the courage and efficiency of Ansar and the village defense forces are now widely recognized. Ansar forces are playing a vital role in eliminating terrorism, militancy, extremism and fundamentalism, including responsibility for various elections, including national elections.
Sheikh Hasina said, “We expect our members to work with integrity, courage and sincerity to defeat the evil forces in the protection of the people.” If we all work together, we will soon be able to establish a hungry, poverty-free Bangladesh.

The Prime Minister said this while addressing the 40th National Assembly of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces at Bangladesh Ansar and VDP Academy in Saffipur, Gazipur on Thursday.

Sheikh Hasina said the guard of honor was given to the first government of independent Bangladesh by Ansar and village defense forces. The government was formed in Meherpur, Kushtia. The Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman formed this force with great importance.
Stating that the government has taken up the task of enacting Ansar Battalion, he said that the task of enacting Ansar Battalion will be completed soon. As well as the construction of two Ansar Battalions for the security of ‘Rupur Nuclear Power Station’ and ‘Mujibnagar Liberation War Memorial Complex and Amrakanan’ are almost in the final stages.

The Chief of the Awami League government mentioned the development of four Ansar Battalions, including a Guard Battalion, restructuring the organizational structure of the battalion, establishment of Ansar and VDP Development Bank, introduction of risk allowance and development of Ansar and village defense forces.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina went to Ansar and VDP Academy at Gazipur’s Saffipur at around 11 am by helicopter. As the Prime Minister arrived at the salutation stage, the melody of the national anthem rose. Then the Prime Minister visited the parade in an open jeep.

After visiting the parade, go back to the salutation stage. The Prime Minister gave 143 medals to various categories including serviceable and courageous.
State Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Mostafa Kamal Uddin, Bangladesh Ansar and Director General of Village Defense Force Major General Kazi Sharif Kayakwad welcomed the Prime Minister at the ceremony.
