400 Bangladeshi Remittance Fighter Lost their lives in Saudi Arabia

At least 400 Bangladeshi remittance fighters have lost their lives in Saudi Arabia in Corona.Four Bangladeshi doctors have died in Saudi Arabia to prevent an epidemic. Two more doctors’ wives also died in Corona. In addition, at least 400 Bangladeshi remittance fighters working in various professions have died of corona infection till June 18.

There are four doctors, Dr. Mohammad Golam Mostafa, Dr. Md. Anwar ul Hasan, Dr. Abdur Rahim and Dr. Mohammad Afaq Hussain.

June 16 Dr. Mohammad Golam Mostafa died. He was working in Medina under the Saudi Ministry of Health. Dr. Mohammad Golam Mostafa was a former student of Chittagong Medical College, 18th Batch and a resident of Boalkhali Upazila of Chittagong District.

June 13, 2020, Dr. working at the “Badruddin Poly-Clinic” in Riyadh. Md. Anwar ul Hasan died of corona.

May 19, 2020 Dr. working at the “Bin Laden Polyclinic” in Jeddah. Abdur Rahim died of “corona”. He was a resident of Amirabad in Lohagarh upazila of Chittagong district.

Specialist doctor Afaq Hossain Mollah first breathed his last on March 31 while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Medina. Corona was attacked while working at the Safa Al Medina Clinic in the same city. Afaq. He is a child of Pukuria village in Bagharpara upazila of Jessore.

It may be mentioned that Dr. Afaq Hossain was a student of Jhenaidah Cadet College. After that Sir Salimullah passed MBBS as a fifth batch student of Medical College.

Riyadh Dhaka Medical Center MD Abdullah Al Mamun said. Shafiqul Islam’s wife and Dr. Anwar Hossain’s wife died in Corona.

Dr.Manoj working in Saudi RMCO said more than a dozen doctors were still being treated for coronavirus in the country.

It is to be mentioned that BD Doctors Pool is being formed with Bangladeshi doctors working in Saudi Arabia and health services are being provided to the expatriates. Expatriates can avail this service through Prabasbandhu Call Center of the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare. Under the direction of the Ambassador, the Economic Minister. Mohammad Abul Hasan is supervising the BD Doctors Pool.

The death of four Bangladeshi doctors and about four hundred remittance fighters who lost their lives in the global epidemic Corona cast a shadow of mourning among Saudi expatriate Bangladeshi doctors and expatriates.

Bangladesh Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Golam Masih and BD Doctors Pool Co-ordinator of the Embassy Economic Minister. Mohammad Abul Hasan expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the souls of the deceased.

The Saudi expatriate remittance fighters demanded special cooperation from the families of the dead expatriates in Corona by bringing them under the special incentive package of the Prime Minister.
