Chance of rain with thunder somewhere in the country.According to the weather forecast, temporary gusts or winds with rain or thunderstorms may blow over 12 regions of the country. River ports in all these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
It further said that the trend of rain may continue across the country in the next 72 hours.
The weather forecast for the inland river ports of the country till 6:00 pm is 45-60 km per hour from south or south-east over Dhaka, Faridpur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar and Sylhet regions.Temporary gusts or gusts of wind with heavy rain or thunderstorms may occur.
The weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9:00 am today said that most parts of the five divisions in Rangpur, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet and many parts of Dhaka, Mymensingh and Rajshahi divisions may experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers with temporary gusts. At the same time, there may be moderate to heavy rains in some parts of the country.
In addition, day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
According to the synoptic conditions of the weather, the axis of monsoon winds extends from Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Ganges, West Bengal and the central part of Bangladesh to Assam.
