In Chandpur, 12 people died due to corona and symptoms. Another 12 people died while undergoing treatment at the Corona Unit of Chandpur Government General Hospital. Of these, three died in Corona and nine in symptoms.

On Thursday, August 5, the hospital’s focal person on corona said. Md. Sujauddaula Rubel confirmed the information.

The dead in Corona are- Md. Bachchu Mia (75), Rafiza (40), Rahima (75). The deceased have been identified as Selina Begum (55), Jahanara Begum (60), Jogmaya (70), Raushan Ara (50), Tasmia (45), Majeda Begum (50), Badsha Gazi (70) and Rokeya Begum (66). And Abul Kashem (75).

According to the District Civil Surgeon’s Office, 449 more people in the district have been infected with corona in the last 24 hours. So far, corona has been identified in the bodies of 11,448 people.

Sources further said that 182 people died in Chandpur due to corona. Of these, 69 are in Chandpur Sadar, 28 in Faridganj, 11 in Matlab South, 23 in Shahrasti, 25 in Hajiganj, four in Haimchar, 13 in Matlab North and 9 in Kachua.
