Chinese Defense Minister is in Dhaka

Chinese Defense Minister General Wei Fenghi has arrived in Dhaka on a one-day visit. He arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 11:15 am on Tuesday. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam welcomed him at the time.

Chinese Defense Minister will meet with President of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid and Army Chief General Aziz Ahmed, a foreign ministry official said.

The visit of the Chinese Defense Minister to Dhaka in the second wave of corona infection is considered important by the concerned people for various reasons.
