Bus-private car collision in Cumilla,3 killed. Three passengers of a private car were killed when a Shyamoli Paribahan bus hit them in Cumilla.
The accident took place in the Jokanon area of Cumilla Sadar South area on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway around 3pm on Thursday.
The deceased were- Md. Mubarak Hossain’s son from Taltola area of Khilgaon in Dhaka. Miraj Hossain (18), Belal Hossain (35), son of Abdul Majid of Nalitabari upazila of Sherpur and Fakhrul Alam (35), a resident of Laxmipur district.
Sub-Inspector (SI) of Cumilla’s Mainamati Highway Police Station Abdur Rahman said a private car heading to Laxmipur from Dhaka hit a Shyamoli Paribahan bus while taking a U-turn in the area. The private car is twisted. At the scene. Miraj Hossain and Belal Hossain died. Later, Fakhrul Alam died on the way to Dhaka.
The bus and the private were seized, he added. The bus driver and helper fled after the incident. The body is at the Highway Police Station. At the end of the autopsy, the body of the relatives will be explained.
