Corona of 5 more people was identified in Chandpur on Tuesday. Of these, 3 are from Haimchar and 2 from Shahrashti. On the same day, 4 people were declared free and healthy from Corona. Among them 2 are from Chandpur Sadar, 1 from Matlab North and 1 from Faridganj.
The number of people infected by corona in the district is 2344. The death toll is 77.
2180 people have recovered. At present 87 people are undergoing treatment.
This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office. According to sources, a total of 36 reports came from MA Wadud RT-PCR lab of Chandpur-based today. 5 of them are corona positive. The remaining 41 corona are negative.
At present, the upazila-wise statistics of 2344 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 943 in Chandpur Sadar, 268 in Faridganj, 265 in Matlab South, 231 in Shahrasti, 200 in Hajiganj, 196 in Matlab North, 156 in Haimchar and 85 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 77 deaths in the district are as follows: 22 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
