The Department of Health regularly conducts online briefings on the coronavirus situation in the country.
Professor Nasima Sultana said samples from 14,245 people were tested in the last 24 hours. Samples were tested in 68 labs. So far 8 lakh and 60 thousand 360 samples have been tested.
She said another 3,524 Covid-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, a total of 76,149 people have recovered.
The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 08. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of coronavirus infection.
