In Chandpur, the corona of 58 more people identified.In Chandpur, on Monday 6 July, the corona of 58 more people was identified in two phases. Among them 22 are from Chandpur Sadar, 11 from Faridganj, 9 from Matlab South, 4 from Shahrasti, 4 from Kachua, 3 from Hajiganj, 3 from Matlab North and 2 from Haimchar.
Among the newly identified, two died in Faridganj and one in Chandpur. They are Nurul Islam Mizi (71) and Abu Taher (60) of Faridganj and Fatema Begum (70) of Rahmatpur Colony in Chandpur.
Fatema Begum, a resident of Chandpur town, died at Chandpur Sadar Hospital at 8:00 pm on Sunday (July 05). He was admitted to the hospital on July 03 and his samples were collected that day.
Earlier, Nurul Islam Mizi(71) of Faridpur’s Subidpur area and Abu Taher(60) of Gallak area of the same upazila died on Friday(July 03) morning while undergoing treatment at the isolation ward of Chandpur Sadar Hospital. Their samples were collected after death.
With this, the number of victims of corona in the district has increased to 1,101. The death toll rose to 65. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office. Sources said that on Monday (July 06), 157 reports came in two phases in one day. Of these, 58 reports are not positive. The remaining 99 are negative.
The upazila-wise statistics of 1,101 people affected by corona in Chandpur district at present are: 439 in Chandpur Sadar, 125 in Matlab South, 121 in Faridganj, 109 in Shahrasti, 105 in Hajiganj, 79 in Haimchar, 73 in Matlab North and 50 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 65 deaths in the district are as follows: 19 in Chandpur Sadar, 16 in Hajiganj, 9 in Faridganj, 8 in Matlab North, 5 in Kachua, 4 in Shahrasti, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
