45 More People Identified As Corona Infected In Chandpur

With this, the number of victims of corona in the district has increased to 919. The death toll has risen to 59. This information has been informed by the Civil Surgeon’s Office.

At present, the upazila-based statistics of 919 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 352 in Chandpur Sadar, 101 in Shahrasti, 101 in Matlab South, 92 in Hajiganj, 89 in Faridganj, 73 in Haimchar, 68 in North and 43 in Kachu.

The upazila-wise statistics of 59 deaths in the district are as follows: 17 in Chandpur Sadar, 16 in Hajiganj, 8 in Matlab North, 7 in Faridganj, 5 in Kachua, 4 in Shahrasti and 2 in Matlab South.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Sakhawat Ullah added that a total of 4672 samples have been sent from Chandpur till Wednesday. There were 4267 reports came. 405 pending reports. He added that out of 919 affected people in the district, 328 have already recovered. There are 532 people under treatment.

So far, 364 patients have been admitted in isolation. Of these, 332 have already received clearance. At present the number of patients in isolation is 32. Besides, the total number of persons in Home Quarantine in the district is 6,937. Of these, 4,583 people got clearance. At present there are 2,354 people in the home quarantine.
