In Chandpur, the corona detection rate has started rising again after being low for a long time. In one day on Sunday, November 1, only 10 more corona were identified in Chandpur Sadar Upazila. With this, the number of people infected by corona in Sadar upazila increased to 979 people.
The new victims in Chandpur Sadar Upazila are: women of Bipanibagh (23), women (34) of Nazirpara, women (50) and men (50) of Haji Mohsin Road, men (27) of Railway 14 Quarters area, MA Wadud RT-PCR Lab. Male (30), male of trackroad (68), female (48) of Wapda Gate area, male (65) of Mission Road and male (55) of Lodergaon area of Shahmahmudpur Union.
With this, the number of people affected by corona in the district increased to 2396 people. The death toll is 78.
At present, the upazila-wise statistics of 2386 people affected by corona in Chandpur district are: 989 in Chandpur Sadar, 273 in Faridganj, 266 in Matlab South, 232 in Shahrashti, 203 in Hajiganj, 198 in Matlab North, 160 in Haimchar and 85 in Kachu.
The upazila-wise statistics of 78 deaths in the district are: 23 in Chandpur Sadar, 17 in Hajiganj, 11 in Faridganj, 10 in Matlab North, 7 in Shahrasti, 6 in Kachua, 3 in Matlab South and 1 in Haimchar.
