11 more deaths due to corona symptoms in Chandpur. In the last 24 hours, 11 people have died in the isolation unit of the 250-bed General Hospital in Chandpur with corona symptoms.

On Tuesday, August 3 at 2 pm, the matter was confirmed by Chandpur Government General Hospital Corona Project Focal Person Dr. Sujauddaula ruble.

The deceased have been identified as Ayesha Begum (70), Shahida (70), Hosneara (55), Kalipada Karmakar (58), Latif (65), Sufia (85), Sharif Dhali (65), Moni Rani (55), Maksuda (36), A. Majid (90), A. Sobhan (90).

According to the Chandpur Civil Surgeon’s Office, 173 people have died of corona in the district so far. Of them, 64 are from Chandpur Sadar, 2 from Faridganj, 10 from Matlab South, 22 from Shahrasti, 25 from Hajiganj, four from Haimchar, 13 from Matlab North and eight from Kachua.

Besides, 135 people were newly infected in Chandpur on Monday and a total of 10,553 people were infected in the district so far.
