According to a notification issued by the Department of Health, 15,566 samples were tested in the last 24 hours in 206 government and private labs in the country. A total of 37 lakh 24 thousand 473 samples were tested.
The first case of coronavirus infection (Covid-19) in the country was identified on March 8. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of the coronavirus.
