Old man died of Coronavirus at Chandpur Government Hospital

An old man died of Coronavirus at Chandpur Government Hospital. An old man named Kajal Bepari (65) died of covid-19 at the 250-bed General Hospital in Chandpur.

He died on Sunday evening, while undergoing treatment.

His home is in West Hossainpur village of Ashikati union in Chandpur Sadar upazila.

Focal Person on Corona Hospital Dr. Sujauddaula Rubel said Kajal Bepari was admitted with corona symptoms on Saturday night. After testing his sample, Corona came back positive.

His oxygen saturation level decreases rapidly. As a result he died. We tried our best to save his life.

The number of corona cases in the district has increased to 15,051 with new cases.

So far death toll from Coronavirus is 239.

14,772 people have been declared healthy.

At present 40 people are undergoing treatment.
